The following chart indicates to number of compressions for each size sleeve to obtain maximum holding strength. The powerful 6-ton tool requires only one compression for the 1/16, 3/32, and 1/8 size sleeves.

Select the proper die size for the sleeve to be swaged. Use only 3/32 sleeves with 3/32 die, 1/8 sleeve with 1/8 die and so on. For lap slices at least two oval sleeves should be used.
