There are inconsistencies in cable diameters and specifications from import suppliers of wire rope and import suppliers of hand swaging tools. When swaging Locoloc brand copper sleeves using Locoloc brand swaging tools, Loos recommends using only wire rope that is certified to MIL-DTL-83420, RR-W-410E, or ASTM-A-1023 and traceable to the manufacturer of the wire rope.
